Regional demand
The languages that stand out in Diyarbakır
In the economy of Diyarbakır it is agriculture, the food industry and its role as a regional trade centre that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.
The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Notarisation and apostille in Diyarbakır
If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Diyarbakır at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:
Notarisation
The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.
Apostille — administrative documents
For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Diyarbakır (or by district governor's offices in the districts).
Apostille — judicial documents
For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.
Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.
Being the place where the region converges
What sets Diyarbakır apart from the provinces around it is not a single sector but its function as a centre. The supplier, the hospital, the university and the wholesale distribution point serving businesses in the surrounding provinces are largely to be found here. That centralises the demand for translation as well: a proportion of the files that reach us are in fact the extension of a transaction in a neighbouring province. Company formations, dealership and franchise agreements, wholesale supply contracts and correspondence with banks and lenders all come out of here. Because the province is at the same time a magnet for health and education services, medical reports and student paperwork form a steady flow. Diyarbakır’s document profile, in other words, resembles that of a services and trade centre far more than that of an industrial province.
Commercial and corporate documents
The most frequent arrivals are company formation and registry documents, signature circulars, dealership and distributorship agreements, supply and service contracts, bank correspondence and tender files. In these documents it is essential that the company name, the address and the names of the authorised signatories are written the same way throughout the paperwork; the slightest difference leads the other side to treat the file as incomplete. Food and agricultural processing plants send analysis reports and export certificates. On the health side there are discharge summaries, test results and treatment reports; here the terminology is kept exactly as it stands and no finding is interpreted. On the education side, diplomas, academic transcripts and recognition files come through regularly.
| Document | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| Company registry document and signature circular | A new commercial relationship, banking and tender procedures |
| Dealership and supply agreement | Setting up a regional distribution network |
| Discharge summary and test report | Following up treatment abroad |
| Diploma and academic transcript | Applying to study, and recognition |
| Analysis report and export certificate | Shipments of food and agricultural products |
The reasons behind the demand for Kurdish, Arabic and English
Kurdish is in wide everyday use in the province; texts in the language are requested for information notices, promotional material and part of the correspondence between the parties. Arabic has its source in trade and in migration: the region’s wholesale trade is closely bound up with the markets to the south, buyers reaching into the Middle East ask for certificates and contracts in Arabic, and the school, civil registry and residence papers of families settled in the region are themselves drawn up in that language. English comes into play as the common language of corporate transactions, international supply relationships, academic files and medical reports. The three languages answer to three separate groups. Our per-page rates are set out in a single list on the languages page.
The standard checks we run on corporate files:
- The company name, the address and the tax number are written in a single form throughout the documents.
- The names of the authorised signatories and the wording on signing authority are kept as they appear in the signature circular.
- Clauses in contracts on term, termination and jurisdiction are not left open to interpretation.
- Measurement values and units in medical reports are never converted under any circumstances.
Timing on health and education files
Because Diyarbakır draws patients and students from the provinces around it, a marked seasonality appears on the translation side. Recognition and study documents pile up during enrolment and application periods; files that follow a course of treatment, by contrast, keep to no calendar and become urgent according to the date the patient is due to return abroad. Medical reports call for as much care as speed: abbreviations, drug names and units of measurement are carried across as they stand, and diagnostic wording is not interpreted. On student files, what proves decisive is that names and dates match the spelling in the passport. Telling us at the outset how urgent a job is and when the deadline falls has a direct bearing on where it comes in the delivery queue.
Working remotely counts for something in a central province too
Because Diyarbakır is a large city, the thought that “I’ll find somewhere nearby” is a common one; but running the notarisation and, where needed, the apostille steps one by one still means several half-days. With us all of these steps are completed in Ankara: you upload the document online, the price and the delivery date appear at once, the sworn signature and the notarisation are handled at our office in Ankara Kızılay, the electronically signed copy reaches your inbox the same day, and the wet-signed original is couriered to your address. We have no branch in Diyarbakır. You can send your first file through the quote form, and compare the types of service on the services page.
The information here is for general guidance; in a process that runs remotely, the original document may still be required. For the conditions in force, consult the institution’s current list of required documents.
