The languages that stand out in Siirt

In the economy of Siirt it is pistachio production, mining and livestock farming that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.

The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Official certifications

Notarisation and apostille in Siirt

If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Siirt at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:

Notarisation

The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.

Apostille — administrative documents

For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Siirt (or by district governor's offices in the districts).

Apostille — judicial documents

For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.

Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.

The translation needs of a province known by its produce

Siirt is one of those provinces whose name is spoken alongside particular agricultural products, and on the translation side that gives rise to a need of its own: texts that document where a product comes from and what makes it distinctive. When a product is to be sold abroad, the buyer asks not only for the analysis report but also for the information setting out its origin and what sets it apart. Registration certificates, descriptions of the production method and promotional texts therefore go into translation alongside the technical documents. The second strand is mining: the mining activity in the province generates analysis reports, equipment documentation and shipping paperwork. The third is livestock farming and the flow of personal documents.

The documents that come from Siirt

On the agricultural side come analysis and residue reports, business registration certificates, geographical indication registration and promotional texts, packaging and label information, and sales contracts. On the mining side there are grade and analysis certificates, equipment manuals, and dispatch and customs paperwork; in these texts the values and the units must be carried across exactly as they stand. Veterinary certificates and subsidy application files arrive from livestock businesses. On the personal side, civil registry records, marriage and birth certificates, criminal record certificates, diplomas and academic transcripts, and visa files make up a steady flow; because most of them are tied to an appointment date, timing matters.

Why Kurdish and Arabic come to the fore

Kurdish is in widespread everyday use in the province; the information texts of producer associations, cooperative announcements and local promotional material are asked for in it. The demand for Arabic comes out of the trade chain: Siirt’s agricultural products reach the markets of the Middle East and the Gulf through the distribution and export channels of the provinces to the south, and the buyer and the food authority there want the certificates and the label information in Arabic. To that are added the school, civil registry and residence papers of families settled in the region. On mining files English comes into play, because equipment documentation and correspondence with international buyers both run in that language. The per-page rates stand on the languages page.

The rules we apply on product promotion and certificate files:

  • Claims about the qualities of a product are never taken beyond the source text.
  • Statements of geographical origin are kept exactly consistent with the registration text.
  • Analysis values are not rounded and their units are not converted.
  • The product name is used in a single form across the certificate, the label and the contract.

Mining files are a discipline of their own

Agricultural files and mining files may come from the same province, but they bear no resemblance to one another. On the mining side the texts are short and dense with figures: analysis tables, grade values, sample records, coordinate lists. The greatest mistake a translator can make here is to try to “tidy up” the table; the order, the units and the decimal separator of the source text have to be preserved. In equipment documentation, part names must be used with a single equivalent throughout the file, because the same document circulates among the purchasing team and the maintenance team alike. In shipping paperwork, the quantity and description details are expected to match the invoice exactly; a file that does not match is held up at the other end.

A process that runs remotely and moves faster for it

Carrying a document from Siirt to Ankara is neither practical nor economical. That is why the service was built to run remotely from end to end: you upload the document from wherever you are, the fee and the delivery date appear at once, the sworn signature and, where required, notarisation are completed at our office in Ankara Kızılay, the electronically signed copy reaches your inbox the same day, and the wet-signed original is delivered to your address by courier. We have no branch in Siirt and we do not imply that we have one. For certificates that recur through the season we keep the templates and use the same equivalents on the consignments that follow. You can send your file through the quote form and see the per-page fees on the pricing page.
