Notarisation and apostille in Adıyaman
If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Adıyaman at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:
Notarisation
The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.
Apostille — administrative documents
For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Adıyaman (or by district governor's offices in the districts).
Apostille — judicial documents
For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.
Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.
The unseen correspondence behind contract manufacturing
Textile production is one of the defining items in Adıyaman’s economy, and a large part of it runs on contract manufacturing: the order comes from a brand, production takes place here, and the goods go to another country. In this model the need for translation arises not in the product itself but in the correspondence around the order. The brand sends a technical pack – pattern measurements, fabric and trim specifications, sewing instructions, quality control criteria and labelling rules. The manufacturer has to understand all of it without gaps; misreading a single dimensional tolerance can lead to a whole consignment being rejected. To this are added audit reports, social compliance certificates and shipping papers. That is exactly where the weight of the files from Adıyaman comes from.
What is in a textile file
An order file contains explanatory notes to technical drawings, measurement charts, fabric and trim lists, production and washing instructions, care labels and quality control criteria. Care label texts call for particular attention; they have to be written in set forms laid down by the legislation of the destination country, and free translation is not accepted. The second group is the audit side: social compliance and factory audit reports, and corrective action plans. The third group is tourism – promotional texts, tour programmes and accommodation contracts prepared for the parts of the province that draw cultural tourism. The fourth group is personal documents: civil registry, diploma, criminal record and visa files.
| Document | Why it is critical |
|---|---|
| Measurement chart and tolerance list | Misreading it leads to the consignment being rejected |
| Fabric and trim specification | The basis of supply and costing |
| Care and composition label | Mandatory forms set by the destination country’s legislation |
| Audit report and corrective plan | Keeping the relationship with the brand going |
| Promotional and tour text | Demand on the cultural tourism side |
The ties behind the demand for Arabic and Kurdish
Demand for Arabic is fed from two sources. The first is commercial: the province’s textile and food production reaches Middle Eastern markets through the export channels of the provinces to the south, and buyers there want contracts and certificates in their own language. The second is administrative and familial: the school, civil registry, residence and employment contract papers of the Arabic-speaking population settled in the region make up a steady flow. Kurdish, for its part, is widely used in everyday communication in the province; internal company notices, announcements and some promotional texts are requested in it. English comes in as the default language of the technical correspondence conducted with the brands placing the contract orders. The rates are listed on the languages page.
What we watch for in order files:
- Measurements and tolerance values are never converted, under any circumstances.
- Material and colour codes are left exactly as they are.
- Instruction sentences are carried over in the imperative and without abbreviation.
- Label texts are written in the mandatory forms of the destination country.
Cultural tourism needs a different kind of text
Adıyaman’s second and entirely different source of demand is cultural tourism. Promotional texts, itineraries, information board texts and accommodation terms prepared for the foreign visitors who come to see the historic sites in the province arrive for translation regularly. These texts call for an approach quite unlike that of the technical files: the information has to be accurate but also read fluently, historical claims must not be carried beyond the source text, and the names of places and structures have to be used in their established spelling. The cancellation and liability clauses of accommodation and tour contracts, on the other hand, are handled like legal text. Prices and capacity figures are likewise carried over exactly; a small error in these fields can later become a matter of dispute. You can see our per-page rates on the pricing page.
Working to the rhythm of the order
In contract manufacturing the delivery date is fixed from the start, and a delay turns straight into a penalty. We therefore run the process remotely and at speed: you upload the file online, the price and delivery date appear at once, the sworn signature and, where required, notarisation are completed at our office in Ankara Kızılay, the electronically signed copy reaches your inbox the same day, and the wet-signed copy is couriered to your address. We have no branch in Adıyaman. If you work regularly with the same brand, we keep the agreed renderings of the technical terms and use the same ones in later order files. You can send your first file through the quote form.
