The languages that stand out in Elazığ
In the economy of Elazığ it is mining, energy and agriculture that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.
The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Notarisation and apostille in Elazığ
If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Elazığ at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:
Notarisation
The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.
Apostille — administrative documents
For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Elazığ (or by district governor's offices in the districts).
Apostille — judicial documents
For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.

The traffic in files that energy and mining investment generates
The backbone of the translation work coming out of Elazığ is power generation and mining. What these two sectors have in common is that the investment is large and long-lived: equipment arrives from abroad while a plant is being built, the supplier sends its documentation in its own language, maintenance contracts and warranty terms come into play once the plant is running, and after that the cycle of inspection and reporting begins. Every stage produces a set of documents of its own, and most of them are technical. To this are added the licences, analyses and dispatch papers on the mining side, together with the export documents of the agriculture and food businesses. Elazığ therefore generates a demand for translation that is heavily technical for the size of its population, and the average page count of the files that reach us is above the regional average.
What we meet most often in a technical file
What we see most are equipment operating and maintenance manuals, installation specifications, acceptance and commissioning records, warranty and service contracts, occupational health and safety procedures and risk assessment reports. From the mining side come certificates of analysis, ore grade reports and dispatch documents. The greatest risk in these texts is a term that shifts from one sentence to the next: calling the same part by one name on one page and by another on the next causes real confusion out on site. Alongside these there are tender files – the administrative specification, the tender letter, certificates of works completed. On the personal side, diplomas, recognition files, medical reports and visa papers flow in steadily.
The way we work on technical files rests on these four principles:
- Part and equipment names are used with a single rendering throughout the file; they are not varied with synonyms.
- Units of measurement, model codes and standard numbers are left exactly as they are.
- Warning and safety statements are not simplified; the tone of a text that will be read out on site is preserved.
- The table layout and numbering of the source text are carried over undisturbed, so that the two texts can be compared side by side.
| Document | The stage at which it is needed |
|---|---|
| Installation specification and manual | Installation and commissioning |
| Acceptance record | Handover to and payment of the supplier |
| Warranty and service contract | The operating period, breakdown procedures |
| Analysis and ore grade report | Sales, inspection and investor presentations |
| Tender papers and certificates of works completed | Applications for new projects |
Arabic and English: two separate counterparties
English is unavoidable here as the language of engineering: the equipment manufacturer’s documentation, the text of the technical standards being followed and international inspection reports are all drawn up in it, so the translation work runs along that axis too. Arabic has its source in trade and in proximity: Elazığ’s agriculture and food producers sell into Middle Eastern markets, the region’s commercial network is closely bound up with the provinces to the south, and the buyer along that line wants the certificate in Arabic. Added to this are the civil registry, education and residence papers of families who have settled in the region. So the two languages arrive with two different types of document; one is sent by an engineer, the other by an export manager or by a family. The rates are set out in a single list on the languages page.
Uploading from the site is quicker than going to an office
Most power and mining sites are not in the provincial centre; for an engineer out there, coming into town for a document means half a day gone. With us there is no such step: a file can be uploaded from the site itself, the price and the delivery date appear at once, and the sworn signature and, where required, notarisation are completed at our office in Ankara Kızılay. The electronically signed copy reaches your inbox the same day, and the wet-signed original is couriered to your address. We have no branch in Elazığ and we do not imply that we have one; our service model is built on remote intake and courier delivery. On manuals running to many pages, settling together which sections genuinely need translating also brings the cost down.
How to obtain a quote
Upload your document to the quote form and let the page count, the language pair and the delivery date appear straight away. On technical projects, attaching your term list or your earlier translations, if you have them, improves consistency considerably. If you are not sure which service you need, the distinctions drawn on the translation services page will point the way.
The information here is provided for guidance; in a process run remotely the original document may be required. For the conditions that apply, consult the authority’s current list of required documents.
