When and how can I cancel?
You can send a cancellation request from the support area of your account, by e-mail (info@tercu.me) or by telephone (+90 850 255 5 444). The time your request reaches us is the point taken into account.
Refund rates
| Stage | Refund |
|---|---|
| Translation not yet started | Full amount paid |
| Translation in progress | Balance after deducting the value of the part completed |
| Translation delivered | No refund, except in cases of defective service |
| Notarisation / apostille completed | Official fees are not refundable |
| Dispatched by courier | Courier charge is not refundable |
Why is the refund partial?
A translation is produced specifically for the document you send us and cannot be supplied to anyone else. Once work has begun, the value of the part already completed is therefore not refundable. Notary and apostille charges are official fees paid to third parties; they are not income of the agency.
If the service is defective
If you find an error or omission in a delivered translation, tell us. Any error we confirm is corrected free of charge. Where correction is not possible, or the service has not achieved its purpose, a refund of the fee will be considered.
Refund timing and method
Once a request is approved, the refund is made to the account used for payment, within normal banking processing times. The refund amount and any deductions are confirmed to you in writing.
Routes of complaint
If you believe your request has not been resolved, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi), according to the monetary thresholds set by the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
