The languages that stand out in Denizli
In the economy of Denizli it is textiles, home textiles and marble exports that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.
The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Notarisation and apostille in Denizli
If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Denizli at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:
Notarisation
The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.
Apostille — administrative documents
For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Denizli (or by district governor's offices in the districts).
Apostille — judicial documents
For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.
Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.
A single question sits at the centre of the translation requests that reach us from Denizli: which document will get these goods through customs? The sheer volume of home textile and marble exports turns almost every file from the province into foreign trade paperwork. Personal documents are in the minority here; the real work is clearing the paper obstacles standing in the way of a shipment.
Denizli’s export intensity gives the demand for translation an industrial rhythm of its own: files arrive often, at regular intervals and closely resembling one another. Set up properly, that is a considerable advantage. Once a document pattern has been settled, it can be used unchanged across dozens of shipments over the course of a year. Below we set out which documents fall into that pattern and where care is needed.
Movement and origin documents
Shipments of industrial goods to the European Union use the A.TR movement certificate, while cases calling for preferential origin use the EUR.1 movement certificate and origin declarations. These documents are themselves drawn up on standard forms; what actually needs translating is the supporting paperwork attached to them: producer declarations, statements on the raw material supply chain, manufacturers’ letters and invoice annexes.
On origin, the problem we meet most often lies in the texts explaining at which stage the product underwent “sufficient working”. These explanations are written in the technical language of production, but they carry legal consequences. A loose translation can lead to a request for subsequent verification at customs.
Test reports in textiles
Buyers of home textiles ask for laboratory reports showing that the product is safe for human health and that it will last: colour fastness, shrinkage rate, flame resistance, screening for harmful substances. These reports are mostly drawn up in English, but the Turkish version is called for in domestic inspections and the German or Russian version in the target market. In translating a report, keeping the structure of the tables and the units of measurement exactly as they stand is essential.
| Stage of the shipment | Document translated | Common target language |
|---|---|---|
| Order | Sales contract, proforma invoice, sample approval | English, German |
| Production | Technical specification, quality plan | English |
| Before dispatch | Test report, declaration of conformity, producer’s letter | German, Russian |
| Customs | Supporting documents on origin, invoice annex, weight list | English |
| Payment | Letter of credit annex, bank correspondence | English, Russian |
| Audit | Social compliance report, corrective action plan | English |
| Trade fairs and promotion | Participation agreement, product presentation file | German, Russian |
| Marble exports | Technical specification file, quarry permits | English |
Where Russian fits in Denizli
English and German stand where you would expect them to, as the languages of export. Russian comes to the fore because home textiles and towelling have a strong body of buyers in the northern markets; in those markets product labels, conformity documents and contracts are asked for in Russian directly. We have gathered the general picture of which document is looked for in which market on the countries page.
Social compliance audits
Social compliance is the field in which manufacturers selling textiles to European retailers have generated the most paperwork in recent years. Buying companies have working conditions at the plant audited, and the output of that audit is a thick report: headcounts, working time records, payslips, minutes of health and safety training, records of personal protective equipment and corrective action plans.
What is critical in translating these documents is the right counterpart for the terms of employment law. Concepts such as overtime, annual leave and length of service do not have the same counterpart in every country; using an approximate one can lead the auditor to record a non-conformity. In the social compliance files that come from Denizli we manage these terms from a fixed list.
Corrective action plans call for attention of their own. These texts set out the deadlines undertaken and the units responsible; a vague translation can look like an undertaking that has not been met. Carrying the wording on deadlines and responsibility across exactly makes things easier for you at the next audit.
Don’t let translation be what the container waits for
We have no branch in Denizli; the work is carried out at the office in Ankara. On foreign trade paperwork this makes almost no difference, because the copies going to your customs broker and to your buyer are digital. A wet signature is required only for certain official submissions, and it arrives by courier. If you export regularly, defining your recurring document templates once saves a day on every shipment. To begin, upload your document.
The information here is for general guidance; in a process that runs remotely, the original document may still be required. Settling the form the institution requires at the outset spares you the work of doing it all again later.
