The languages that stand out in Uşak

In the economy of Uşak it is textiles, leather and blanket manufacturing that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.

The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Official certifications

Notarisation and apostille in Uşak

If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Uşak at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:

Notarisation

The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.

Apostille — administrative documents

For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Uşak (or by district governor's offices in the districts).

Apostille — judicial documents

For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.

Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.

Uşak is a small province and the demand for translation matches it: volume is low, files come in sparsely, and most of the work arrives from businesses exporting for the first time. We set this out as it stands, because the only thing that will serve this page is realism. The problem facing a blanket or leather producer selling abroad for the first time is not the problem of a large exporter.

Another feature of the enquiries reaching us from Uşak is that most of them are urgent. In small businesses the need for translation is not planned ahead; it surfaces the moment a buyer asks for a document. That generally means a conversation opening with the words “we need it by tomorrow”. The good news is that most of the documents from this province are short; a job of a few pages can be finished within the same day.

This page sets out to explain two things: which documents are genuinely required on a first export, and what to do when an unusual language pair is needed in a small province. Both are the questions we hear most often from here.

Which documents are asked for on a first export

Ahead of the first shipment the buyer generally asks for the following: a proforma invoice, the product specification, a letter approving the sample, a document showing production capacity and any quality certificates there may be. At the customs stage the commercial invoice, the packing list and, where required, the movement certificate come into play, together with the manufacturer’s declaration. To a producer seeing the list for the first time the pile looks off-putting; in fact the part that needs translating rarely runs beyond a few pages.

The warning we give most often is this: do not have every document notarised. For the greater part of the commercial paperwork going to your buyer a sworn translation is enough; notarisation is required only for documents that will be submitted to an official authority. For a small business that distinction can halve the translation budget.

Finding a language in a small province

In Uşak, finding a solution for English and German is not difficult. The difficulty begins when an unusual language pair is called for: a contract from a Scandinavian buyer, a court judgment from Eastern Europe, or a product file destined for the Far East. In such cases demand is thin, and so a match is hard to find within the province. The real benefit of working remotely here is not speed but reach: the pool of languages worked on at the office in Ankara does not depend on the population of the province. The languages we work in are on this list.

Labels and care instructions: a small text, a large responsibility

With blankets, carpets and leather goods, the item an exporter most often overlooks is the small label on the product itself. Fibre composition, origin details, washing and care instructions and warning wording all have to be written in line with the rules of the target market. These texts run to a few lines, but when they are wrong the product cannot go on the shelf and, at best, has to be relabelled.

Label texts are no place for free translation. The equivalents of fibre names and care symbols are standardised; the wording to be used is settled. On leather goods there are also the statements declaring whether the product is genuine leather, which in many markets are compulsory and are written to a fixed form.

The good news is this: once a label text has been set up correctly it stays unchanged for years. Our advice to producers in Uşak is to have the label texts prepared once for each product group and then filed away. On later orders only the batch details change, so no further translation cost arises.

A day for the courier, a few minutes for the decision

Uşak is generally a single working day from Ankara by courier, and that keeps the process reasonable even for a job of one document. We have no branch in the province; the document arrives online, the translation and, where required, notarisation are completed in Ankara, and the wet-signed copy is sent to your address. If you are making your first export, begin by sending photographs of the documents; we will work out together which of them genuinely need translating. More often than not the list turns out shorter than you expected.
