Language Pair Direction
Which language a translation runs from and which it runs into.
The direction of a language pair expresses the order of source and target – which language the text is being carried from, and into which. The same pair can work in both directions, but each direction calls for different expertise and attention, so stating it at the outset matters.
The general view is that a translator produces the most natural result working into their own first language. Direction is therefore weighed alongside the native-speaker principle when deciding who a job goes to.
çeviri.tr assigns each job to the most suitable translator, taking both the direction and the purpose of the document into account.
