Certified Translation
A translation whose accuracy has been confirmed by an authorised translator or authority, and which carries a mark of certification.
Certification means a translation ceases to be an ordinary text and is guaranteed by someone who takes responsibility for it. At its simplest that guarantee comes from a sworn translator’s stamp and signature; for weightier procedures it comes from a notary or a consulate.
The request for a certified translation usually comes from the institution receiving the document. A university admissions office may be satisfied with the translator’s stamp, while a foreign official authority will often require a higher level of certification.
Choosing the right level depends as much on where the document is going as on what it is. çeviri.tr plans the route from the outset, so the document becomes valid the first time.
