Wet-signed Translation
The paper copy that a sworn translator signs by hand and stamps in person.
A wet-ink signature is the traditional form of certification, applied by the translator in pen. With the stamp and the signature the document becomes a physical original, and institutions require this tangible copy for most official procedures.
Although the number of procedures accepting electronically signed translations is growing, stages such as notarisation, apostille and consular legalisation frequently still run on the wet-signed original. It is therefore worth finding out in advance which format the receiving institution accepts.
çeviri.tr prepares either a wet-signed or an electronically signed copy, according to where your document will be used.
