The languages that stand out in Kayseri

In the economy of Kayseri it is furniture, textiles and machinery exports that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.

The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Official certifications

Notarisation and apostille in Kayseri

If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Kayseri at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:

Notarisation

The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.

Apostille — administrative documents

For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Kayseri (or by district governor's offices in the districts).

Apostille — judicial documents

For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.

Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.

When we open a file from Kayseri, one of two things is usually inside: the export folder of a factory, or the official business of a family living in Europe. The city’s weight in furniture, textile and machinery production feeds the first group; decades of migration to Europe feed the second. What the two have in common is that the whole of the work will be put before a recipient outside Türkiye.

What is in the exporter’s folder

The translation needs of a business exporting furniture and machinery do not end with a single catalogue. Product descriptions, assembly instructions, warranty terms, dealership and distributorship contracts, payment terms and sometimes trade fair presentations all become parts of the same file. In work of this kind, what takes the translator the most time is not the sentences but carrying units of measurement, material names and product codes across consistently.

Why German leads the field

In Kayseri, German is the language of industry and of families alike. On one side stand the contracts of manufacturers selling into the European market; on the other, the Türkiye end of lives built in Germany: birth and marriage records, powers of attorney drawn up for title deed transactions, school recognition matters, and pension and health insurance correspondence. This second group usually comes with a deadline, because most of it hangs on an appointment date.

Where the demand for Arabic comes from

Kayseri’s need for Arabic arises largely from furniture and textile sales to countries in the region. The documents the buyer asks for as part of its import paperwork get held up at customs whenever they fail to match the Turkish original exactly, so we run a separate check that the invoice line items and the translation agree. We have gathered the items of service we offer on industrial files on the translation services page.

Setting up a company or a representative office abroad

A need that has grown among Kayseri businesses in recent years is setting up a company, a branch or a representative office abroad. The process generates a stack of paperwork all by itself: trade registry records, certificates of activity, signature circulars, documents showing the shareholding structure, tax records and letters of authorisation. Because all of it will go before the trade registry of the country concerned, it has to be faultless in both the translation and the chain of approval.

The difficulty we meet most often in these files is carrying across company names and objects of business. A company name is not translated but kept exactly as it is; the objects of business, by contrast, have to be expressed in terms close to the classification language of the country concerned, or questions arise at the registration stage. The same holds for definitions of signing authority: loosening the wording that sets the limits of that authority creates a problem which is hard to put right afterwards. For that reason we take company formation files as a single piece and translate them as a whole.

Nor does the traffic in documents stop once the company is formed. Annual activity reports, shareholders’ resolutions, changes of authority and tax correspondence are translated on a regular basis. That continuity makes it worth keeping the arrangement of terms and titles established in the first file; the same concepts appearing under different renderings year after year gives the file at the other end an air of inconsistency.

Another frequent need is staff postings. The employment certificates, letters of assignment and social security papers prepared for those who will work at the branch abroad concern the business and the employee alike, so they have to be clear enough for both sides to follow. In these documents, carrying the job description across in full matters more than finding an exact equivalent for the job title.

Getting it done without leaving the city

Rather than hunting for a translation office in Kayseri, photographing the document with your phone and sending it gives a faster result in most cases. We do the page count, you see the amount in advance, and the approval steps are completed in Ankara. There is one further convenience for companies: as files belonging to the same product family build up over time, a pool of terms forms, and the jobs that follow come out both more consistent and more quickly. You can see how pricing works on the pricing page.
