The languages that stand out in Bayburt
In the economy of Bayburt it is agriculture, livestock farming and mining that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.
The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Notarisation and apostille in Bayburt
If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Bayburt at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:
Notarisation
The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.
Apostille — administrative documents
For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Bayburt (or by district governor's offices in the districts).
Apostille — judicial documents
For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.
Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.
Ordering a translation from one of Türkiye’s smallest provinces
Bayburt is a small province and there is no sense in hiding it: the translation work that reaches us from there comes at a monthly rather than a weekly rhythm. But demand being infrequent does not mean the work is simple; quite the opposite. Files from small provinces are mostly tied to one-off transactions that cannot be undone – a visa application, an employment contract abroad, an inheritance file, a school enrolment. The person will not be doing this a second time, and the hours they would spend putting right a document approved in the wrong way often exceed the time allowed for the application itself. It therefore has to be right the first time. We handle work coming from Bayburt with exactly that in view, establishing at the very start what the authority in question is asking for.
The documents that come most often are personal
The great majority of the files reaching us from Bayburt are personal papers: civil registry extracts, birth and marriage certificates, criminal record certificates, diplomas and academic transcripts, military status certificates, medical reports and powers of attorney. Behind them there are generally three scenarios – going to join a relative working abroad, applying to study, or completing a legal matter being pursued abroad. From farming and livestock businesses, equipment import paperwork, support application files and veterinary documents arrive from time to time. On the mining side we see a limited number of reports, but ones with a high technical density. The volume may be small, yet the range of documents is not narrow at all.
| Document | Typical purpose |
|---|---|
| Civil registry extract | Family reunification, civil registry matters abroad |
| Criminal record certificate | Visa and work permit applications |
| Diploma and academic transcript | Study applications, recognition |
| Power of attorney | Acting on behalf of a relative abroad |
| Veterinary and support application papers | Import procedures of livestock businesses |
English and Russian: the mark of migration and of neighbours
Bayburt has long been a province that sends its population elsewhere; some families live in the large cities, some abroad, and the ties do not break. Demand for English follows directly from that movement – whichever country is being applied to, the common language accepted by consulates and schools is most often English, so civil registry and education papers are translated into it. Russian, meanwhile, is fed by the trade route of the neighbouring Black Sea provinces: small businesses in the region that sell their produce to the northern markets, or bring goods in from them, conduct their correspondence and contracts in Russian, and the producer from Bayburt is part of that chain. All the languages and the per-page fees are listed on the languages page.
What working remotely really amounts to here
When you live in a small province, the real difficulty is not finding a translator but finding someone who can put together the right chain of approvals. The person having a document translated usually has to deal separately with a notary and an apostille step as well, and to travel to another town to do so. With us all of these steps are completed in Ankara: you upload the document from wherever you are, and the sworn signature, notarisation where required and the apostille process are carried out by us; the electronically signed copy reaches your inbox the same day and the wet-signed copy your address by courier. We have no branch in Bayburt, and we say so plainly; the service model we run here is built on remote acceptance and courier delivery.
We work on a single document too
We do not look for a minimum order value or an “at least so many pages” condition. A one-page civil registry record and a fifty-page contract go through the same process and are priced on the same tariff. Upload your document to the quote form and see the fee and the delivery date at once; and check the form of approval required by the country you will be applying to on the countries page. Asking about anything you are unsure of before you send the document comes far cheaper than a translation carried out with the wrong approval.
This page is intended as guidance; courier times can vary with distance and with the carrier’s schedule. The requirement in force on the date of the transaction should be taken as the basis.
