The languages that stand out in Osmaniye
In the economy of Osmaniye it is iron and steel, agriculture and logistics that stand out. That profile also shapes which languages and which types of document the translation requests from the province concentrate on.
The prices below are starting per-page rates on economy delivery; the tariff is the same for every language and does not change from one province to another.

Notarisation and apostille in Osmaniye
If we are handling the certification, you need not visit any office in Osmaniye at all. If you would still like to know where each step is completed:
Notarisation
The sworn translator's signature is certified by a notary. The fee is governed by the 2026 Notary Fee Tariff, is the same throughout Türkiye, and is a separate item from the agency's charge.
Apostille — administrative documents
For administrative documents such as civil registry extracts, diplomas and criminal record certificates, the apostille is issued by the Governor's Office of Osmaniye (or by district governor's offices in the districts).
Apostille — judicial documents
For judicial documents such as court judgments, the apostille is issued by the judicial justice commission in centres that have a serious crime court. Not every province has one; where it does not, the matter goes to the centre it is attached to.
Source for the notary fee: Official Gazette 30.12.2025 / 33123 — the official announcement. For the current list of notaries, see the Union of Turkish Notaries.
Osmaniye is a small province, but iron and steel production puts its translation demand well above its size. The character of the files that come from here follows from that production: documents holding more tables than text, more figures than sentences. A firm selling a steel product has to deliver the identity of that product just as much as the product itself.
In documents of this kind the success of a translation is measured by fidelity, not by fluency. There is nothing to be gained from turning a fine sentence in an inspection certificate; a unit or a standard number written wrongly, on the other hand, puts the whole shipment at risk. That is why our working priority on files from Osmaniye is the accuracy of the data.
Inspection and quality certificates
With steel products the buyer asks for a material inspection certificate. That certificate sets out the chemical composition of the heat, its mechanical properties, tensile and yield strength, heat treatment details and the heat number. The text part of the document is short; the real content is the table. In translation the priority is to carry the structure of the table and the units across without disturbing them. A decimal separator or a unit prefix slipping out of place is enough for the buyer to reject the goods.
Standard designations are likewise kept exactly as they stand in these documents. It is not right to “explain” a standard number or to render it with a local equivalent; the number is an international reference and is carried across unchanged.
The paperwork logistics brings with it
The province’s position in logistics adds a second cluster alongside the industrial documents: carriage contracts, storage and handling agreements, insurance policies, damage survey reports. Because the translation bears directly on the amount of compensation in damage files, the descriptions in those reports have to be carried across word for word.
| Document | Where the content sits | Priority in translation |
|---|---|---|
| Material inspection certificate | Tables and numerical data | Integrity of units and values |
| Declaration of conformity to standards | Short text, reference numbers | Preserving the standard designations |
| Carriage contract | Legal text | Liability clauses |
| Damage report | Descriptive text | Exact transfer of the descriptions |
| Agricultural produce documents | Analysis results | Units of measurement |
| Investigation questionnaire | Cost and sales data | Matching of the accounting items |
| Written submission in defence | Legal text and list of annexes | Consistency of the reference numbers |
| Dealership agreement | Commercial provisions | Preserving the limits of authority |
| Storage and handling agreement | Operational provisions | Definitions of liability and periods |
How Arabic and English divide the work
In Osmaniye these two languages do different jobs. English is used in the technical documents for steel products and in references to international standards; wherever the goods are going, the inspection certificate is usually wanted in that language. Arabic comes into play in direct sales to the markets of the region, in commercial contracts and in documents of authority. We have compiled the document and approval expectations by destination country on the countries page.
Origin investigations and correspondence in defence
Steel is one of the product groups to which safeguard measures are most often applied in international trade. That creates an unexpected translation need for exporting firms: answering questionnaires in investigations opened by foreign authorities, submitting cost and production data, preparing written submissions in defence. These files are both bulky and subject to strict deadlines.
The data called for in the questionnaires comes out of the accounting records: unit costs, capacity utilisation rates, sales listings, details of raw material purchases. The priority in translating them is that the table headings and the accounting items match the concepts the authority expects. A single item matched wrongly can bring the whole body of data into question.
In the submissions themselves the language is legal. The grounds put forward against the allegation, and the numbering of the supporting documents, have to be carried across in full. Because the deadlines are so short, our way of working on these files is to take the documents piece by piece in the order they arrive; waiting for the whole set to be ready is often not possible.
Finding technical language in a small province
We have no branch in Osmaniye and, to be honest, reaching a translator on the spot who commands metallurgical terminology is not easy in a small province in any case. The value of working remotely here is access to a pool of expertise that owes nothing to geography. Documents arrive online, the translation is done at the office in Ankara, and the wet-signed copy follows by courier. If you have inspection certificates that repeat, setting up a template once brings the process down to a matter of hours on later shipments. To get started, send us your document.
This page is provided for guidance; courier times can vary with distance and with the carrier’s schedule. For the conditions that apply, consult the authority’s current list of required documents.
